Dude Perfect delivers an electrifying performance on college game day

“College GameDay” always has a knack for bringing out the best celebrity guest players, and today was no different.

The ESPN team was in College Station, Texas to preview the Texas A&M-Texas game, so they had to bring in the best Aggie alumni out there. Obviously the most logical choice would be the trick shot kings and YouTube sensations, the “Dude Perfect” crew.

These guys have taken the internet by storm over the last decade by making countless YouTube videos who demonstrate their incredible talent for trick shots. If you’re looking for wholesome and hilarious entertainment (a rarity these days), check this out. You won’t be disappointed.

As is tradition, Pat McAfee hosted his weekly kicking contest on GameDay, and you already know Dude Perfect was all in on it. Tyler, better known as “The Beard,” volunteered to kick, and the stakes were high. If Tyler made his kick, McAfee would be forced to add $100,000 to the student kicker’s $150,000 prize pool. If he failed, Dude Perfect would donate $100,000 to charity.

After dealing with McAfee trying to ice him (and kicking without warming up), Tyler stepped up and fired the 33-yard field goal into the right upright. Would you expect anything less from a trick shot expert?

Peyton, the student, wasn’t as lucky. But Dude Perfect did its job and breathed some life into this segment.

When it came time to make the choice, the boys made a clear decision and chose Texas.

Just kidding, they joined the Aggies, and Tyler matched – and perhaps even surpassed – McAfee’s ability to whip up a crowd.

The purpose of guest selection is to attract celebrities who will add life and energy to the segment. ESPN made the best possible decision for tonight’s edition of the prestigious pregame show.
