Notre Dame’s final drive of the first half against USC was a bit nerve-wracking.

The no. It was Leonard who barely managed the first down on a quarterback run.

The pass was followed by another long run by RB Jeremiyah Love — one that included another hurdle from a defender. This was enough for 20 yards.

The Leap of Love will produce more than a few highlight reels, but Leonard’s pass to Riordan secured points.
