Shop local at events across Arizona during Small Business Saturday

PHOENIX (AZFamily) – It’s time to shop local and support your favorite businesses across the state! Hundreds of businesses will be participating in Small Business Saturday this year, and now is the time to start your holiday shopping!

Uptown Farmer’s Market

It’s a central favorite in Phoenix! At the Uptown Farmer’s Market, guests can enjoy local produce, handmade foods and handcrafted goods. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m

Black Friday, Saturday block party for small businesses

Check out 100 small businesses at the 7th Annual Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Buy Local Block Party in Downtown Phoenix! Music, food trucks and a bouncy castle are available for guests. The event takes place on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: 610 E. Roosevelt Street, Phoenix

Black-Owned Business Fest

Head south of the valley to attend Tucson’s own Black-owned business festival! The event features activities, live music, art, dancing, vendors, food trucks and information about Arizona’s black community. According to Local First Arizona, BOB Fest, in partnership with Phoenix and surrounding cities, is the largest Black business festival in the state. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m

Location – 55 N. Fifth Avenue, Tucson

Phoenix flea

Phoenix Flea is hosting its 11th annual Small Business Market in downtown Phoenix. Customers can shop small and support over 130 small businesses and food trucks, all gathered at Heritage Square & Science Park. Be sure to get there early because a whopping 6,000 people are expected! The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

Cost: $5 cash, admission required. There are no ATMs in the park.

Small Biz holiday market on Saturday

Downtown Phoenix wine bar GenuWine is hosting a holiday market from noon to 3 p.m. Guests can view unique gifts and handmade items.

Location– 888 North First Ave., Suite 10., Phoenix

Cost – Free

Saturday morning small business market

Spread the love and shop some local favorites at the Small Business Saturday Morning Market in downtown Phoenix! Guests can visit the Build Your Own Bouquet Bar, where they can create their own hand-wrapped bouquet or make friendship bracelets with their best friends. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m

Cost – Free

Indoor holiday market

Over 200 local vendors will fill the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa this weekend! Kids and families can enjoy live music, face painting, caricaturists, bounce houses, photo booths, food trucks and more! The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

Location – 6321 S. Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ

Cost $5 entrance fee and $5 parking fee required.

Shop in Scottsdale on Saturday

Head to Old Town Scottsdale to pick up some treats at the local shops and boutiques! The Old Town features a unique small business district with dozens of boutiques, galleries and retailers – all within walking distance.

Customers who shop at a local business can show their receipt and receive a free shopping bag. There will also be a free gift wrapping station. The event takes place from 1 to 3 p.m

Visit OldTownScottsdaleAZ.com/Shopping for a list of local boutiques, shops and art galleries. Don’t forget to check out the city’s month-long holiday celebration, Scottsdazzle, where our very own Jaime Cerreta will be leading the tree lighting on Saturday at 7:55 p.m.!

Gilbert Small Business Saturday

Head to the Gilbert Farmer’s Market this weekend to support local vendors! Stock up on fresh produce and stop by over 100 food vendors. The farmers market is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m

Location – Downtown Gilbert, west of the water tower

Melrose Turkey Crawl

Grab your friends and head to the annual Melrose District Turkey Crawl! Support local bars in the District like Thunderbird Lounge, Stacy’s @ Melrose, YUMBAR and Smith’s on 7th.

There are drink specials at every bar and guests get a free shot at every bar!

The cost to attend the event is $20. You can pick up your bracelet at Smith’s on the day of the crawl on the 7th. Wearing the wristband is mandatory when crawling!

  • 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Smith’s on the 7th
  • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Thunderbird Lounge
  • 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: YUMBAR

Flagstaff Small Business Saturday

Looking to get out of the valley this weekend? You can support local businesses in downtown Flagstaff! Sleep in, skip the long lines and shop on sale! Guests can have a drink at Old Barrel Tea and then shop at Flagstaff General Store or Peace Outfitters.
