Sorry, but Josh Allen is officially off the market

That’s because the 28-year-old asked for her friend Hailee Steinfeld’s hand in marriage a year and a half after her first relationship, it is said People. On Friday, the couple posted a photo together on Instagram showing them walking along an unspecified shoreline under an arch of colorful roses, with Allen on one knee and Steinfeld leaning against him. The caption simply read: “11•22•24” – perhaps the day of their actual engagement.

Rumors about Allen and Steinfeld began circulating in May 2023, around the time he split from his longtime ex, Brittany Williams. The two made their first public appearance together at an NHL game in Buffalo in October of that year — although they didn’t become “Instagram official” until last July, when Allen posted a romantic-looking photo of them near the Eiffel Tower. A source tells People that Allen and Steinfeld were “head over heels from the start” and that “their families were thrilled” about the engagement.

Others also want congratulations from all over the internet. “LET’S GOOOOO!!!” The Buffalo Bills’ official Instagram account responded under the Allen/Steinfeld engagement post (the team also posted separate congratulations on IG and X).
